USING BOTOX TO TREAT PERSPIRATION

The weather gets so hot sometimes that your body often tends to sweat a lot. Many a times, you sweat so much that it becomes visible on the clothes you wear. And then, it becomes quite embarrassing for you and forces you to take extra pains to hide the sweat stains. For some people, the problem is not just the sweat stain, they may actually have a medical problem which cannot be done away with something like deodorant. Recently there has been the suggestion that Botox can be used to treat perspiration. this will seem starnge to many of you but there has been success with this type of treatment for this particular problem.

Initially, the injection was used as a remedy to help the body get rid of wrinkles but, of late, Botox has been found useful for avoiding sweat. The injection is given directly under each arm, giving you the benefits within a short span of time.

People sweat for a number of reasons including -

  • Obesity.
  • Heredity.
  • Nervousness and anxiety also cause sweating. Some people also suffer from hyperhidrosis.
  • The diet you consume also leads to sweating. Eating too much spice also forces the body to release sweat.

Making use of deodorants and antiperspirants is not necessarily the best solution for everyone.

The benefits of Botox are as follows-

  • It helps to deal with problems associated with hyperhidrosis.
  • There is considerable decline in the release of underarm sweat.
  • You can also avoid emitting the bad odor related to sweat.
  • This is a good substitute for deodorants.

The only drawback with this injection is that the injection does not have its effects permanently. The effects of Botox remain for about 3-4 months, depending on the person who is injected. This means you will need to be injected at least 4 times in a year. You must consult a doctor before using Botox.
