Grow Longer Lashes to Flirt With
I was not born with long Cinderella eyelashes the western cultural sign of femininity but had instead short thin wisps not useful for flirting or batting of the eyelashes. I began experimenting with makeup enhancing my eyes with artful colors, false eyelashes and heated eyelash curlers, loads of mascara and occasional professional eyelash dyes and perms. The full made-up ensemble achieved a stunning look, but it was allot of work to compensate for not having the eyelash definition that naturally gives a girl a sexier look.
Luckily a couple years ago I began using ‘eyelash growth boosters’ and suddenly getting dressed to go out for an evening became easier. Now the makeup approach is a bit of mascara as my lashes are full, long and curl on their own and since longer lashes create natural shadows, applying only a minimum of makeup eye-color is prettier.
The successful methods I use to grow longer and thicker eyelashes are with two products that can be purchased online. The first one is Revita-lash and is more essential than the next because it allows for lash length and fullness lasting 6 months to 7 months worth in applications. It’s a clear liquid in a tube applied nightly along the base of the lashes like liquid eyeliner. The second product is Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash and is optional but helps to maintain healthier lashes that wearing mascara can work against. It’s a protein treatment also applied nightly directly onto the lashes like clear mascara. Also note, if you wear makeup mascara, choose one that is moisturizing and be aware that waterproof mascara tends to be drying and creates brittle lashes that tend to fall out.
I had become aware of another popular product that assists eyelash growth. Whilst visiting my friend who was working locum doctors jobs, I met a nurse who used Latisse. You may have seen, Latisse advertised by Brook Shields on TV and in magazine publications. It’s a medical grade eyelash serum and a very expensive treatment that needs to be purchased monthly. The nurse’s eyelashes were incredible like fluttering butterflies but when she explained they would overgrow and required regular trimming; I decided the less expensive version of Revita-lash was a better option.
There are side effects that I found researching both Latisse and Revita-lash and this is those with light blue eyes may experience their irises developing brown specks. Brook Shield’s has ‘blue eyes,’ but I suggest those with blue eyes to be cautious. I have brown eyes so can’t make a comment about the effects on blue eyes but I’ve not had any negative side effects, only proven luxuriously longer lashes.
